Fenugreek Seed Tea
30 grams of ground fenugreek seed (I grind them in a coffee grinder about 5 times)
2 quarts of boiling water
Add about 30 grams of fenugreek seeds, in a large container. Pour hot water over seeds and let seeds soak for several minutes to a half hour. Stir, strain and store in refrigurator.
This makes a stong tea. I usally will mix with regular tea or green tea. Lately been mixing it with bitter melon tea.
I sometimes will add about a teaspoon of the grounded seeds to a cup of whatever tea I’m drinking.
I once ate the leftover seeds I made with the one cup method. My blood sugar went to the 50’s at night. I stopped eating it.
I now add it to my TVP or soy cakes.
I added some websites below if you want more info on the seeds.
I started to drink this tea several weeks ago and believe it has had a positive effect on my blood sugar. At least that’s what I believe. You may have different results. Good luck
